Elmer Waterhen Defends Middleweight Championship at “Infamy”


Elmer Waterhen retained the KOTC Canadian Middleweight Championship last night in Edmonton, Alberta, as the rugged veteran tapped out challenger Mike Froese with a first round, rear--naked-choke.

The bout marked Waterhen’s first title defense, after the Saskatchewan fighter stopped Brad Stewart last July to secure the title.

Rising middleweight Luke Harris was also victorious Friday night, as the decorated grappler submitted vet Brandon MacArthur with a first round armbar.
