Josh Machan Takes Bantamweight Belt at KOTC Canada’s “Unified”



Josh Machan laid claim to the King of the Cage Canadian Bantamweight Championship in Grande Prairie Saturday night, as the well travelled vet tapped out prospect Behrang Yousefi with a first round, armbar.

With the win, Machan extended his record to 9-4 while Yousefi experienced his first pro defeat and now carries a record of 4-1.


The “Unified” event also saw UFC vet Tim Hague score a stoppage win over heavyweight Craig Hudson, as well as established lightweight Brad Cardinal submit Travis Briere in the opening round.
